First Things First Council - Maternal Depression Network

First Things First

First Things FirstThe ADM Board is an active partner in the First Things First (FTF) Coalition, a group of agencies and service providers in Summit County working together to develop a comprehensive early care and education system. The FTF Council strives to address system gaps and to identify improvements needed to ensure young children in Summit County have the greatest opportunity for positive physical and mental health, early learning, and developmental outcomes, and to ensure families have access to needed support services.

Summit County Maternal Depression Network

Summit County Maternal Depression NetworkAll families experience a period of adjustment when a baby is born. While pregnancy and childbirth are times of great joy, they are often accompanied by changes and demands that may seem overwhelming.

The Summit County Maternal Depression Network  is a collaboration of providers and community partners working together to identify and minimize the negative impact of maternal depression in our community. The group seeks to raise community awareness of maternal depression and to provide appropriate treatments and supports for women who experience it.
