Summit County ADM Board Luncheon features Regina Brett

The County of Summit ADM Board is pleased to announce that Regina Brett will be this year's speaker at the annual luncheon on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Regina is an award winning journalist who has been writing professionally since 1986. Her comments will focus on "Managing the Curve Balls that Life Throws at You".

Regina is a metro columnist at The Cleveland Plain Dealer and her column appear on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Her column focuses on the issues of every day life. Sometimes touching, often funny and always provocative, Regina's columns touch people where they truly live.

Also as part of the luncheon program, the ADM Board will present their annual awards which recognize individuals for their significant contributions to the addiction and mental health services field.

The luncheon will be held at the President's Hall at the Akron Urban League, 440 Vernon Odom Blvd. The cost for the luncheon is $25.00 per person and the reservation deadline is Wednesday, October 8, 2008.
